-
So, by now you’ve probably all seen the widely excoriated article in which
an old Flatbush rabbi states that girls expire at age 20. “If we didn’t

By way of explanation: So,(insert name) Where were you Shabbos nite, morning, afternoon? Didn't see you in shul!! My answer: Davened By De Koisel (My Wonderful Wall )........
There's only so many times I can hear the dreidle song.
ReplyDeleteI always remember being afraid to look at x-mas stuff, that something was gonna happen if I looked at the "santa" at the mall. Although when we would drive through houses with lights it was cool to look at them, though I learned your not allowed to have joy from them.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Chanukah in advance
LFD- Eemo anochi betzarah....
ReplyDeleteTBW- I can identify with the first part of your comment...but doesn't the 2nd part belong on your other site ;-) LOL, Happy Chanukah to you too!
DavenedByDeKoisel: lol, well being that I can only use one username, it's stuck under the first name. Although I think I did a cool job at making a second look a like profile for my Jewish one!
ReplyDeletelol, thanx!
poor guy! between the difficulty finding parking (though you ny-ers are used to that!) and the crazy non jews trying to find gifts, i try to avoid stores these days.....though i do admit to enjoying xmas music. its pretty - ok??? lol -the now defunct Lakewood Venter did a post about jews who like xmas music last year, so i know im not the only one!
ReplyDeleteTr8erGirl: I like some xmas music too, but mostly the jazzed up remakes, it's the sappy stuff on a loop that drives me batty!!
ReplyDeleteBabysitter: If you enjoy it only a little than the fire in gehenna will only be lukewarm...LOL
LFD: If they mixed in some Chanukah stuff it might be tolerable!
DavenedByDeKoisel: lol, well tonight I went shopping by Kings Plaza and I saw the huge santa with kids taking pictures with him. This poor little kid was sitting on Santa's lap and screeching hysterically. Then in all the stores they had the x-mas music, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was x-mas music if not for hearing the word x-mas in it.
ReplyDeleteBabysitter: Glad you enjoyed the Plaza, hope u got me a gift :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDelete(I had a good comment to the "gift" part, but I forgot it...)
Oy, from working in retail I can tell you that having to hear the same songs or demo cd all day long is mental torture. I got lucky though, as in my division we hooked up speakers for our ipods and management never said anything about it.
ReplyDeleteFrumpunk: Thanks for commiserating and really appreciate the "roll" :-)
ReplyDeleteI always feel for those poor souls who have to listen to the same songs over and over and over...
ReplyDeleteShorty: Duly noted, and welcome to de koisel
ReplyDeleteAnd Shorty you got an honor, Your name got capitalized and Koisel got lower cased.
ReplyDeletebtw, DavenedByDeKoisel: did you see my post about x-mas? Anyways, I mentioned there about the lights. It says that it's painful for Hashem to see. So when I commented earlier about the lights and I couldn't remember the exact thing, so there it is.
